Training (Skills Development)

The Skills Development program provides a negotiated amount of financial support for skills training to eligible individuals who require skills training to secure employment.

How do I apply?

Visit the Merritt Employment Services office and make an appointment to see an employment counsellor.

As part of the application process, it is necessary for you to receive an employment assessment and develop a Return to Work Action Plan with the counsellor. The counsellor’s decision is required before the approving agency can assess your application.
