Working tirelessly as a volunteer to many socially based charities and supporting her Church, Marg has been with CFNV for close to 15 years. During that time she has held the position of Chair and many of the more challenging volunteer portfolios for CFNV. Marg had a long career working at the local hospital until the closure of her department, and brings to CFNV skills in human resources and fair treatment of employees through her trade union association. She is an avid cook who also operates a small catering agency appealing to smaller organizations.

Neil and his wife moved to Merritt in January 06 from the Lower Mainland. They both enjoy the atmosphere and the people of Merritt- finding them to be very friendly and accommodating. The weather in the Nicola Valley is mostly sunny and certainly, a nice change from the Lower Mainland. Neil has been involved with Community Futures as a Director since 2007 and enjoys it very much. Neil is the Chair of the Merritt Employment Services Committee; and also a member of the Lending Committee. Neil and his wife are both members of Merritt Walk of Stars Society. As a business person, Neil owns and operates a photography business named McLeod Photography.
I moved with my family from Holland in 1952. Mavis & I were married in 1964 and moved to 100 Mile House and Delta, where we raised our family. In 2005, after working in the automotive industry as a parts manager, we moved back to Merritt to retire. We have been involved with the Nicola Valley Museum as Directors, and Co-chair for Country Christmas and volunteering where we could at other events. I was appointed to six city committees after the 2008 election: City Centre Board, Façade, ATV Taskforce, Spirit of BC Olympic Committee, Olympic Taskforce, and Directional Signage Committee.
