Thank you for your interest in Community Futures Nicola Valley (CFNV). 

 

In brief, CFNV is a federally incorporated, not-for-profit society funded by Pacific Economic Development Canada (PacifiCan) . Our mandate under that funding is to stimulate and enhance community-based economic growth in the Nicola Valley. To achieve this, we provide business services and training to new and existing business owners and local non-profit organizations. We also initiate and participate in a variety of Community Economic Development (CED) projects.

 

CFNV is governed by a Board of Directors. These positions are all volunteer and are for 2-year terms. Joining the

Board requires a commitment of attending one Regular Board Meeting per month and one Annual General

Meeting (AGM).

 

There is also the opportunity to serve on any of our Standing or Ad Hoc Committees. Standing Committees include:

• Executive Committee

• Policy Committee

• Lending Committee
